Inversion Perversion

All,
A lot of political silliness has arisen lately about American companies who seek to avoid paying the highest corporate tax rate in the developed world through the so-called “inversion” tax loophole.
Somehow, this is being portrayed as unpatriotic or un-American.
Really?
I utterly refuse to equate patriotism to sending ever more hard earned dollars to fat-cat elected officials living in Washington DC.
We have the greatest and most successful free market private economy in history. Our laws should embrace and encourage private businesses -- not demonize them.
They create the jobs. They strengthen our communities. They make America great.
That is real patriotism.
If they want to avoid sending money to the federal sinkhole on the Potomac, I say:
